International Convention Centre, Sydney
The International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is Australia’s first fully integrated convention, events, exhibition, and entertainment center, giving delegates and exhibitors everything they need to have an outstanding experience at ICME-15.
ICC Sydney features striking contemporary design, leading technology, and excellent meeting and exhibition spaces. Designed with accessibility in mind, ICC Sydney has equitable and step-free access to every conference, exhibition, and entertainment space. Accessible toilets, ramps, and spacious passenger lifts are available throughout the venue, and Braille is provided on room door signage and fixed directional signage. Infra-red emitted hearing augmentation systems are in place in all meeting rooms and theatres.
Situated at the intersection of Sydney’s academic, cultural and technology precincts, ICC Sydney provides convenient access to Australia’s most cosmopolitan city. The emerging financial, dining and retail precinct of Barangaroo is nearby. There are also numerous galleries, theatres and concert halls within easy reach, and the bustling city center is only a short walk away

Transport and Parking
ICC Sydney is easily accessible by public transport, including light rail, ferry and train and is only a 10 minute walk from Central and Town Hall train stations. Accessibility & Access
ICC Sydney features three world class venues including: Convention Centre; Exhibition Centre; and Aware Super Theatre. All three venues are seamlessly connected via the Level 2 concourse, which is accessible by multiple elevator / lift locations, is stair-free, and gradient compliant for people who use mobility aids or prams. Lowered or angled counters are also located at key retail and customer service points. This section describes how to access each venue.

Other accessibility features include:
- ICC provides complimentary wheelchairs and augmentation devices (hearing loops) for hire with a form of photo identification.
- Mobility aids and prams are permitted into all ICC Sydney venues, but must be stored in a way that does not block any aisles, access points or exits.
- Blind and Low Vision Assistance: Braille is provided on room door signage and fixed directional signage throughout the venue. Tactile flooring is provided at egress points including at main entryways, staircases, and escalators.
- Accredited service animals are welcome inside the venue.

Sustainable Venue
ICC Sydney is part of a socially responsible and environmentally sensitive convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct.
Key sustainability facts:
- Darling Harbour Live is registered with the internationally recognised US Green Building Council for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), and is set to achieve a Gold Certification
- A target to save 20% of greenhouse gas emissions compared to the Building Code of Australia standard
- Target 14% reduction in potable water use (reference to Australian Standard AS/NZ:500.1.2003 100%mains water)
- Solar hot water servicing the commercial kitchens
- Improved east west pedestrian connections between Darling Harbour and neighbouring precincts of Chinatown, Town Hall, Central, Ultimo and Pyrmont
- New 680m long, 20m wide Boulevard connecting Darling Harbour to Quay Street
