Mathematics Classroom Teaching Research for All Students (M-CTRAS)

The 2024 M-CTRAS Conference will be held in association with ICME-15.

The Mathematics Classroom Teaching Research for All Students is an inclusive professional community bringing together researchers and teachers to promote research, scholarship, and practice to enhance  mathematics teaching and learning for All students and its interdisciplinary areas of school mathematics.

The M-CTRAS was initiated in the U.S.- Sino Workshop in June 2008 as the Classroom Teaching for All Students Research Working Group, with 11 universities participating: five from China, and six from the U.S. Since then the CTRAS has expanded to include universities and school districts spanning more countries and regions around the world. Each year, the CTRAS focuses on a specific research area and hold an annual conference. In 2023, the CTRAS is extended and formalized as M-CTRAS. This new organization welcomes mathematics educators with an interest in classroom teaching research to join us in our common goal of building and sustaining excellence in mathematics classroom teaching and research for all students.

Purpose of the M-CTRAS Conference:

Bringing together researchers and teachers to promote research, scholarship, and practice to enhance  mathematics teaching and learning for All students and its interdisciplinary areas of school mathematics.

The 2024 Conference theme and call for papers will be provided later.
